Telehealth enables the patient to receive Physiotherapy care remotely using your computer or phone in your own premises without having to visit a clinic.

Requirements
Patient requires a computer, tablet, or smartphone that enables: Camera / Video + Microphone function. There is also Patient Chat capability. Last of course – patient must have a valid EMAIL address to link VIDEO call.
Documentation
Complete webforms for client information and Book Online. This will allow for seamless, successful processing of HICAPS or MEDICARE rebates.

Once you have made your booking you will receive confirmation from Jason. We will guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have.

In order to receive Telehealth rebates a doctors consultation may be required to determine suitability. Processing is done via HICAPS or MEDICARE.

Am I entitled to Telehealth?
Anyone is entitled to book a telehealth appointment.
Do I need a doctors referral?
No. A doctors referral is not required for private patients in Australia or internationally.
Do I need a doctors referral for: private health insurance companies, Medicare, DVA, NDIS, workers comp?
If you want to claim rebates you will have to find out whether or not that organisation requires a doctors referral.
Can I claim a rebate in Australia?
Yes. The official paid invoice emailed to you can be forwarded to: Private health insurance companies, Medicare, DVA, NDIS, workers comp.
Can I claim a rebate internationally?
Yes. The official paid invoice emailed to you can be forwarded to: any insurance or government body which enables Telehealth rebates.
I am overseas! What is different?
Nothing is different. The session is done via video + microphone on your computer or device. All you need is wifi & an email address.

What is the Telehealth appointment process?
Via mobile device / computer – which enables video & microphone function.
Subjective assessment via webforms & specific medical questioning related to your injury.
Objective assessment via webforms & functional tests / questioning conducted through video.
Diagnosis assigned.
Video exercise rehab + educational content is sent to your email address. This platform is called Physitrack.
Your physiotherapist will go through the rehab steps with you methodically, so that you fully understand the rehab assigned to you.
Your exercise program can be “tweaked” or revised at any stage over the next 12 months.
How do I book an appointment or pay for a consultation?
You will be emailed an appointment confirmation once you have finished all the steps in the Online Booking + Payment section. Make sure you are ready with your device / wifi at the correct time & day !
Does Telehealth work as effectively as clinic visits?
Yes. The research shows that patients who are compliant with the rehab program gain excellent pain relief. They also exhibit long term relief & functional progress for personal, work, or sporting injuries.
How can you help without actually touching?
Scientific data shows that the rehab aspect of physiotherapy is the most important. Manual Therapy (or physically touching patient) is not absolute. If required, your physiotherapist will refer you to a therapist in your locality / country for hands on manual therapy.
Is my physiotherapist covered for professional indemnity?
Yes. Jason Patrick Little is insured Australia wide and also internationally.

After graduating in 1991 Jason worked in multiple Private Practices. A six month stint in Great Britain saw Jason gaining experience in both Public & Private sectors. Jason began community based, Home Visit Physiotherapy in 1997.
